Description

Saint Simeon (or Symeon) is one of the greatest theologians and miracle-workers in Church history; he is one of only three Saints in the Eastern tradition that is called "Theologian." His writings and teachings on theology and prayer are foundational to Eastern theology. He reposed peacefully in the year 1021. His feast is celebrated on March 12, but as this falls during Lent, he is also commemorated on October 12.
