Returns

Please submit a return request on your order to initiate the return process. Do not return an item without authorization.

Item Damaged Prior to Delivery

  • An item damaged in transit or having imperfections* will be replaced at no cost.
  • After submitting your return request, please email us a photo of the damage so we can investigate.
  • If we need you to return the item, we will issue a return label.

Received Wrong Item

  • We will send you the correct item at no cost.
  • If we need you to return the item, we will issue a return label.
  • Please package the returned item securely so it arrives back to us in new condition. 

Not Satisfied With Item

  • If you do not want to keep an item in you purchased, it may be returned with authorization.
  • We will issue a return label that you can print out.
  • Returned item must arrive in new condition. Please package securely.
  • Item must be shipped within three (3) days of return label being issued.
  • If the item is in acceptable condition, you will be issued store credit equal in value to the item, less shipping. Credit may be reduced for items arriving in less-than-new condition, at the discretion of Legacy Icons.
  • Shipping deduction is flat $5.00 for US customers; international shipping is at-cost.

Exceptions & Restrictions

  • All return requests must be submitted within three (3) days of delivery.
  • No refunds for damage caused by customer mishandling or misuse.
  • Organic Consumables (including incense, charcoal, and candles): Sales are final. No returns for these items.
  • Cathedral Icons: Sales are final. Cathedral Icons damaged prior to delivery will be replaced.
  • Hand-Painted Icons: Sales are final. Damage prior to delivery will be dealt with on an individual basis.
  • Customized Items: Sales are final. Customized items damaged prior to delivery will be replaced.

 

*Many of our icons are reproductions or restorations of ancient icons. For this reason, there are limitations to the resolution and photographic quality that we are able to reproduce. The thumbnail images on our website are fairly accurate representations of what you will receive. If you have questions about the specific resolution of a specific icon you are interested in, please contact us before placing your order. Please also note that, because of a multitude of possible monitor settings and lighting conditions, as well as the different color processes at work with monitors versus print, the color in the image you see on your computer screen may not exactly match the icon you receive. We check every icon before it is shipped for the proper color using professional equipment, so you can rest assured that the icon you receive will have the correct color, hue, and contrast, though it may look slightly different from the image on our website. If you have special environmental considerations for your icon's color, please make note of it in your order notes, or contact us beforehand.
