Red Egg Dye
Wow! The Red Egg Dye turned our brown eggs into a deep dark red-brown. I followed the instructions using hot water and hot eggs, and leaving in dye for 2-minutes. I was able to dye 48 eggs by just adding a bit more hot water at the very end. The egg dying was very easy and clean up was surprisingly easy as well, the dye on towels washed right out. The dyed eggs were stored in fridge for 2-days and when we took them out, the dye did bleed some onto our hands; but it washes right off. Next year I will try with white eggs to see what brilliant color it makes; since the brown eggs created such a deep dark red, I'm confident the white will produce a brilliant bright red. Brown eggs or white eggs - Legacy Icons Red Egg Dye is easy and produces great color! (Be sure to use hot water & hot eggs & leave in dye for 2-minutes like instructions say to do. Oh, don't forget the vinegar, as well.)

Can't eat the eggs
Packaging states that this dye cannot be used for eggs that will be eaten. Very disappointing. I got my dye from you last year, and was able to eat the eggs. This is a different brand, and the package says do not use for edible Easter Eggs.

Not edible!
Oh my, well, I don't know what I'll do with the dye, but on the label it says not for edible eggs! It does look very nice and deep red. May use to dye cloth.
