Saint Valentine (or Valentinus) was a 3rd century bishop of Terni in Italy. He was martyred in Rome in 269.

He is commemorated on February 14 by Western Christians and on July 30 by the Eastern Orthodox.

There is another Saint Valentine, a presbyter of Rome, commemorated on July 6 by the Eastern Orthodox. Both saints are fairly obscure.
