Description
Our beautiful, hand-crafted wooden icon shrines are ideal for housing icons in any outdoor setting—and even indoors! You can choose to display any icon, up to 8x10 inches, either Classic or Masterpiece style, in the shrine as it adorns your garden, forest, landscape, home, or church.
This shrine is made of Cedar, which resists water and insect damage naturally. Cedar has a pinkish color tone. (Also available in other wood species.)
Shrines may be upgraded with special decorative options:
- Decorative carving on basswood in the peak gives a special accent and beauty to the shrine.
- Our special beeswax and linseed oil finish is available for additional protection on all wood finishes.
Being made from natural woods, shrines may contain knots and other natural wood features. Shrines are hand-crafted, and no two are exactly alike. Wood will naturally age and change color based on exposure to sunlight and weather.
Hanging hardware is included. Additional hardware (not included) may be required for secure installation in places prone to high winds and severe weather.

Our icons are hand-crafted and made-to-order. Allow time for production. Please note that your chosen shipping method does not include production time. (For example, if you select 2 day shipping, your order will be delivered 2 days after it ships, not 2 days after the order is placed.) We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. Also note that we ship international orders DDU. Beautiful shrine
I got the white cedar with the extra carved piece. It's just lovely. It is out on the wall of our front porch next to the door, and I am so happy that Our Lady greets anyone who comes to the door!
