Description

This icon depicts a young Christ, seated in the center, with the Theotokos and Saint Joseph standing in prayer on either side. At the top we see the Annunciation to the Theotokos, and to Saint Joseph in a dream—not a common subject in iconography. This is altogether a very unique icon.

    Holy Family Icon with Annunciation

Posted by LeaAnne Luzier on Dec 25th 2021

This is a beautiful icon. I wanted one of the Holy Family and with the Annunciation and St.Joseph’s visitation this is so unique. An absolutely wonderful addition to my prayer room!
