Description
Copal is native to the tropical rainforests of Central America. Similar to frankincense, it is a fragrant, 100% natural tree resin that makes for an outstanding incense. A uniquely refreshing scent of mint and pine, with notes of lemon and deep forest, it maintains a clean fragrance throughout its burning, with very little burnt smell.

Clean burning and sweet; reminds me of the hundreds of the million Guatemalan Orthodox Christians, both Coptic and Eastern Orthodox, who have come to the faith in the last few years.

Spicy, Sweet & Sensual
Spicy sweet, yet earthy, sensual, with hints of delicious citris overtones. This resin has what I'd term a very "clear", translucent scent, bringing to mind the energy of Spring and Summer (very much ruled by the Sun in an astrological sense). Copal's character is very solar, jovial, animating, cheerful, and uplifting. It's delightful in how it grabs the senses and draws you into it's aura. Copal is a great addition to rituals of purification, consecration, banishings, and exorcism rites. Enjoy!
