This fresco from the Slivnichki Monastery in Macedonia is part of a series based on the Akathist Hymn. The scene depicts the Theotokos standing in the midst of expert orators and wizened philosophers, who are left silent and unable to explain her miraculous childbirth. In the words of the Akathist, "We see most-eloquent orators mute as fish before you, O Theotokos; for they are at a loss to tell how you remain a Virgin and could bear a child."
I bought this icon in large and it is a very well crafted and beautiful icon but the resoluton of the image isn't very strong so you should buy it in medium or small.
