Description
This Pocket Prayer Book contains all of the common daily prayers as prayed in the Orthodox (particularly Byzantine) tradition. This translation by the monks of the Holy Transfiguration Monastery is widely used in the English-speaking Orthodox Church in North America and elsewhere.
The book includes Morning Prayers, Mealtime Prayers, Small Compline (used for Evening Prayers), the orders for Vespers and Matins, the Divine Liturgy, various festal and daily hymns, Paschal services, several Akathists and Canons, and prayers for Holy Communion. No home prayer corner is complete without a prayer book, and this is an ideal one.

Beautiful Prayer Book
This is a beautiful prayer book with depth and richness throughout. I also love its compact size, which makes it great for carrying to work in a briefcase or for travel. It has a sturdy composition and is very well made. A great prayer book overall.

I owned this book but lost track of it when I moved abroad. I recently got this and started using it again. I love the akathists and canons. The line drawing iconography and black and red printing is so dignified.
