Verdict is still out...
It smells nice BUT... the pieces of incense seem to all vary drastically, both in color and aroma. Some are very light in color, some are super dark, some are covered in powder, some are not, etc. Is this normal? It almost looks like 3-4 different types of incense got mixed together. It also starts to smell charred fairly quickly, no matter how much ash I leave on the coal. :( I really want to like it more, but the consistency seems to be all over the place. Maybe it's a bad batch? I'm genuinely just curious. ----- Legacy Icons Response: Athonite incense is hand-made. While the fragrance is the same, the appearance of individual pieces may vary.

Got as Sample, Bought Whole Jar
Received a Sample with my Charcoal Incense burner. Had to switch to a Smokeless Burner in my current habitation and it works wonderfully. Mixed it with Frankincense and it created a pleasant aura that reminded me of the Parish I was Baptised in. Though next time I am buying a jar of pre mixed Incense. Still a solid product.

Best incense
This is by far the best incense that I have ever used. Legacy Icons has many great incenses but this is the one I would recommend above all others. The sweet and warm aroma are just heavenly. Thank you for all the wonderful products.

Reminds me of Indian temple
It is a very high quality incense. Burns long and clean. The after smell lasted for days. But it is not my favorite because it reminds me of Indian temple worship in Asia (I live in Malaysia). Perhaps something that the Europeans and Americans may not be able to associate, so it may not bother them. I would have rated higher if not of such olfactory association.

Fantastic smell, just like church
One of my favorite fragrances, makes me feel like I'm in church when I burn it with the smokeless burner. I would recommend breaking it into smaller pieces in order to get the most use out of it however!

Smells like the Holy Land
Of all the incense I've tried from Legacy Icons this one reminds me the most of the incense I smelled on the streets of Bethlehem and Jerusalem on a recent pilgrimage. Very lovely scent, not too overpowering. For me, this is the scent of the Holy Land!

Really Quite Good
This incense is LOVELY! It is the sweetest smelling incense I've ever burned! It definitely sets a prayerful mood and helps with putting your mind in the right place! I'll certainly be ordering more!

Smells Like Bethlehem
I burned some of this a few days after returning from a pilgrimage to the Holy Land and it smelled just like some of the incense that was being burned in some of the holy sites in Bethlehem and Nazareth. The aroma made me feel like I was walking in the Holy Land again!
