Returns

We want you to be satisfied with your order. If you are not satisfied, please contact us within ten (10) days. Include your order number. We may ask you to email us a photo as evidence for your concerns.

No returns will be accepted without authorization from our Customer Service. Do not simply return an unwanted item without contacting us first. We will not refund orders returned without authorization.

"Classic" and "Masterpiece" Icons

Virtually all of our icons are hand-made to order. We do not maintain a warehouse and the possibility of resale is limited. For this reason, We do not accept returns of Classic icons for any reason except for damage or physical imperfection of the icon. (This does not extend to the photographic qualities of the prints.*)

If you wish to cancel a Classic or Masterpiece icon before it ships, you must cancel within 24 hours of placing the order. After 24 hours, but before shipping, a 20% restocking fee will apply. After shipping, sales are final except for reasons of damage as outlined below.

If you receive an icon that was damaged prior to delivery, we will replace it with a new one. You must provide us with a photo of the damage with your explanation. Because our icons are hand-made to order, we will only accept returns for reasons of physical damage incurred before delivery. We will replace your icon at no cost. If you do not want a replacement and you simply wish to return an icon, you will pay the return shipping and we will refund your order, less a 50% convenience charge. We do not accept returns for "Cathedral" size icons.

"Paper Print" Icons

If you wish to cancel a Paper Print icon before it ships, you must cancel within 24 hours of placing the order. After 24 hours, but before shipping, a 20% convenience fee will apply. After shipping, sales are final except for reasons of damage as outlined below.

If you receive a paper print icon that was damaged prior to delivery, we will replace it with a new one. You must provide us with a photo of the damage with your explanation. Because our paper print icons are hand-made to order, we will only provide a replacement for reasons of physical damage incurred before delivery. We will replace your paper print icon at no cost. No returns accepted.

Custom Icons

If a custom icon is damaged during shipping we will replace it, but there are no refunds or returns on custom items.

Incense Accessories, Lamps, Books, Gifts

If you wish to cancel these items before shipping, you must cancel within 24 hours of placing the order. After 24 hours, but before shipping, a 20% restocking fee may apply. After shipping, sales are final except for reasons of damage as outlined below.

If you receive one of these items that was damaged prior to delivery, we will replace it with a new one. You must provide us with a photo of the damage with your explanation. If you do not want a replacement and you simply wish to return an item, you will pay the return shipping and we will refund your order, less a 20% convenience charge. 

Incense, Charcoal, Candles

Due to their organic nature, we cannot accept returns for these items. Please contact us if you have a problem, though, and we will do our best to improve your experience.

 

*Many of our icons are reproductions or restorations of ancient icons. For this reason, there are limitations to the resolution and photographic quality that we are able to reproduce. The thumbnail images on our website are fairly accurate representations of what you will receive. If you have questions about the specific resolution of a specific icon you are interested in, please contact us before placing your order. Please also note that, because of a multitude of possible monitor settings and lighting conditions, as well as the different color processes at work with monitors versus print, the color in the image you see on your computer screen may not exactly match the icon you receive. We check every icon before it is shipped for the proper color using professional equipment, so you can rest assured that the icon you receive will have the correct color, hue, and contrast, though it may look slightly different from the image on our website. If you have special environmental considerations for your icon's color, please make note of it in your order notes, or contact us beforehand.
