This Prayer Book contains all of the common daily prayers as prayed in the Orthodox (particularly Slavic) tradition. This translation by the monks of the Holy Trinity Monastery of Jordanville, New York, is widely used in the English-speaking Orthodox Church in North America and elsewhere.
The book includes Morning Prayers, Mealtime Prayers, Evening Prayers, the orders for Vespers and Matins, the Divine Liturgy, various festal and daily hymns, Paschal services, several Akathists and Canons, and prayers for Holy Communion. No home prayer corner is complete without a prayer book, and this is an ideal one.

As a catechumen in the Orthodox Church of America, this book, printed with the blessing and oversight of the Holy Synod of the ROC Outside of Russia, has been very useful to me in trying to establish a regular schedule of prayer. There are a particular number of prayers added onto by the ROCOR that specifically pertain to the Russian Christians and while I didn't expect any of that, they have been a good foundation to commit the basis of my prayers for my people and congregation and I reckon can be useful to anyone else in that capacity as well. One thing to keep in mind though, that as said on the page, it is in old Elizabethian dialect English, so it may be difficult to read for a person who is still trying to learn English or is otherwise not yet fluent in it.
Otherwise, I have found this prayer book extremely useful in establishing hours of prayer and has most definitely gotten me used to standing during prayer, as for example, reading the entirety of the "Prayers Before Sleep" section took me about 20 minutes to a half hour to get through, so it's good practice for the incoming pain of standing for Divine Liturgy if you're not used to it. :P
It is perfect for personal as well as corporate prayer; it includes the script for the Divine Liturgies of Saint John Chrysostom and Saint Basil the Great. Personal prayers from those saints, also from saints such as Saint Macarius of Egypt and Saint John of Damascus are included, written for morning and evening and you will find their prayers and supplications they passed down to us to be extremely humbling. When reciting them and chanting them by the heart, whether out loud, by whispering, or in silence, the presence of the most Holy Spirit is felt in every word. It is an excellent tool that I know I shall be keeping for many years yet.
