Ideal for use at home, in smaller spaces, and in shorter church services, each roll of Home Size Charcoal contains seven 22mm tablets. Tablets light quickly and last for 25-30 minutes, or for home use, they can be gently broken into smaller pieces to extend the life of your roll.

Safety Tips

Do not burn incense unattended. Children should not use charcoal unattended.
This charcoal contains a small amount of gunpowder to help it ignite more quickly. Use caution when igniting your charcoal; a long grill-style lighter is highly recommended. Avoid contact with sparks.
Keep flammable items away from burning charcoal.
Empty your charcoal ash regularly, after the ash has cooled completely. As the charcoal and incense were offered in prayer, it is customary to bury the ash in a place where it will not be walked on.

I really liked this brand of charcoal, it lights nicely, burns smoothly, and is relatively clean (any soot or residue is easy to clean up). This charcoal burns nicely with the incense varieties I like (Bethlehem scent, piney floral scents, and the Myrrh Bearers scented incense I use). I’m hoping to eventually purchase some Frankincense and test the charcoal on that for my morning and evening prayers. Excellent charcoal and definitely a great price (easy to buy bulk). Great job as always by Legacy Icons.

I use these charcoal daily. I have found that they are a great size for my living space and only need a few small pieces of incense to last through prayer time. The charcoal lights easily and stays hot for quite a while. I usually need to wait a couple hours to empty the burner.

This charcoal lights easily, and is an excellent size for personal devotional use. It holds a small amount of incense without needing to cut the coal into smaller pieces (which is difficult and, in my experience, leads to wasted coal). Also, the price is very reasonable, especially considering the convenience. Exactly what I hoped it would be.
