Legacy Icons offers only the finest icons and worship products, and from our founding in 2011 we have raised the quality standard for icon reproductions. Aside from the premier quality of our products, we hold ourselves to two fundamental standards:
1. We are committed to the Orthodox Christian faith.
Sadly, not all companies who manufacture and sell icons, incense, gifts, and worship supplies are committed to the Christian faith.
When you consider your purchases, we encourage individuals and churches to know who they are buying from and what their money is used for. Do your research, and rest assured you can trust Legacy Icons.
2. We don't steal.
Our icons are either reproductions of historic icons in the public domain, or we have secured permission from the iconographer or copyright holder to reproduce modern icons.
We support traditional iconography by commissioning our own unique hand-painted icons from iconographers, and reproducing them with permission.
We receive many customer requests for icons. It may be easy to find these in a quick image search, but we will never take icons or "Frankenstein" together elements of icons that we have not received permission to use. This is our legal obligation, and our charitable Christian duty.
