Lifetime Guarantee
- Legacy Icons carry a no-fade lifetime guarantee. If your Legacy Icon ever fades, we will replace it.
- This guarantee does not extend to icons that we did not manufacture, such as our imported Greek and Russian icons and prayer cards printed by a third party, which may not use our museum-quality production process.
Item Damaged Prior to Delivery
- An item damaged in transit or having imperfections* will be replaced at no cost.
- After submitting your return request, please email us a photo of the damage so we can investigate.
- If we need you to return the item, we will issue a return label.
Received Wrong Item
- We will send you the correct item at no cost.
- If we need you to return the item, we will issue a return label.
- Please package the returned item securely so it arrives back to us in new condition.
Not Satisfied With Item
- If you do not want to keep an item in you purchased, it may be returned with authorization.
- We will issue a return label that you can print out.
- Returned item must arrive in new condition. Please package securely.
- Item must be shipped within three (3) days of return label being issued. (EU customers: 14 days.)
- If the item is in acceptable condition, you will be issued store credit equal in value to the item, less shipping. Credit may be reduced for items arriving in less-than-new condition, at the discretion of Legacy Icons.
- Shipping deduction is a flat $5.00 for US customers on orders less than $50, and a 10% shipping deduction on orders over $50; international shipping is at-cost.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- All return requests must be submitted within three (3) days of delivery.
- No refunds for damage caused by customer mishandling or misuse.
- Organic Consumables (including incense, charcoal, and candles): Sales are final. No returns for these items.
- Used Incense Items: No returns for used incense burners and accessories. Inspect the item before use.
- Cathedral Icons: Sales are final. Cathedral Icons damaged in transit will be replaced.
- Hand-Painted Icons: Sales are final. Irreplaceable hand-painted icons damaged in transit will be dealt with on an individual basis.
- Customized Items: Sales are final. Customized items damaged in transit will be replaced. This includes shrines.
- Constantine's Closet and other non-standard and limited-time items: Sold as-is. Sales are final.
- Digital Products: No refunds. Sales are final.
Cancelation Policy
- Cancelations must be requested within 24 hours of the placement of the order. Payment will be refunded via the original payment method, less a $5.00 cancelation fee. Allow up to 7-10 days for your financial institution to process your refund.
- If you will accept a refund as store credit, we will waive the $5.00 cancelation fee and typically be able to process your refund within one business day.
- Serial Cancelations: If you cancel more than 2 orders within a 365 day period (that is, 1 year on a rolling basis), subsequent cancelations will be refunded as store credit only. After 5 cancelations within a 365 day period, no additional cancellations will be authorized.
*Many of our icons are reproductions or restorations of ancient icons. For this reason, there are limitations to the resolution and photographic quality that we are able to reproduce. The thumbnail images on our website are fairly accurate representations of what you will receive. If you have questions about the specific resolution of a specific icon you are interested in, please contact us before placing your order. Please also note that, because of a multitude of possible monitor settings and lighting conditions, as well as the different color processes at work with monitors versus print, the color in the image you see on your computer screen may not exactly match the icon you receive. We check every icon before it is shipped for the proper color using professional equipment, so you can rest assured that the icon you receive will have the correct color, hue, and contrast, though it may look slightly different from the image on our website. If you have special environmental considerations for your icon's color, please make note of it in your order notes, or contact us beforehand.
