A larger version of our Home Size Charcoal, each roll of Medium Size Charcoal contains six 35mm tablets. Tablets light quickly and last for 45-50 minutes. Perfect for longer prayers at home, as well as church services.

Safety Tips
- Do not burn incense unattended. Children should not use charcoal unattended.
- This charcoal contains a small amount of gunpowder to help it ignite more quickly. Use caution when igniting your charcoal; a long grill-style lighter is highly recommended. Avoid contact with sparks.
- Keep flammable items away from burning charcoal.
- Empty your charcoal ash regularly, after the ash has cooled completely. As the charcoal and incense were offered in prayer, it is customary to bury the ash in a place where it will not be walked on.

Charcoal
Definitely did the job and lasts longer than the home size which is better for prayer. One thing I did find unusual, not a complaint, was that a few seconds upon lighting the disks would split in two. No big deal just thought it was a little odd

Does not work
This charcoal does not work at all. I have tried many different methods of lighting it and burning it, and absolutely nothing I do will get it to burn for longer than a few minutes. It goes out every time before it has finished burning even a small piece of incense.

Lights very easily, once it gets going it crackles and lights up the whole thing on it's own. Gets hot very quickly.

A hot item....
The medium sized charcoal lights very quickly and is ready for incense in a few minutes. It's size allows me to put two spoons of incense which burns completely.. I prefer it over the home size charcoal because of the diameter. However, because the medium size burns longer it gives me more time for meditation.

Need width!
The idea of a home size charcoal tablet is good, but the size is a problem for me as the small diameter reduces the amount of incense or number of tablets of incense that can be accommodated. This results in shorter burning time requiring addition of incense about every five to eight minutes, rather than a burning time of about twenty to thirty minutes. The tablets do light very easily and have very little smell of their own. [Legacy Icons Note: We are happy to offer charcoal in three different sizes, to accommodate various burn times desired by different people.]
